The Church Development Network (CDN) is one of the dual ministry matrix arms of the Jesus Is Lord Church which is tasked to provide various services ranging from ecclesiastical to technical for the overall empowerment the local churches through specific targeted skills and talents of our members.

There is a song that goes… “Crucified, laid behind a stone/ You lived to die, rejected and alone/ Like a rose trampled on the ground/ You took the fall, and thought of me/ Above all…” As a Church of the Living God, the Jesus Is Lord Church is dedicated to reaching out to people of all walks of life and to bringing them closer to the one Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, primarily through:

CHRISTIAN YOUTH FOR THE NATION-(CYN/KKB)
Ages 13 to 24, is that period of our lives when we are on the journey to self-discovery. This is the age when we, by God’s grace, are on the process of establishing our identities and our true purpose and/or calling in life. Being such a crucial time in our lives, we can – no, we must – demand for the best guidance. And we can claim that guidance here, with no less than our fellow youth and our loving Master, Teacher, Lord and God to accompany and instruct us in our journey.

CHILDREN’S NETWORK

Proverbs 22:6 establishes this principle, that we should train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. A tree cannot be bent when it is old, if we insist on it, it will break. In the same way that the molding of vegetation ought to be in the early growing years, the molding of our next generation of leaders ought to start in the earliest age possible. At the fundamental years of growth, between the ages 5 to 12, we can be sure that our children may be taught and cared for under God’s direction through major activities like the Children’s Sunday School, where they are not only given a variety of Christian educational materials, but also honed in arts, music, dance and what other talents they possess.

COUPLES FOR LIFE
The family – our families – is the foundation of the society. So small yet so crucial. But with all the pressing problems that threaten the families of today, we need a support group that will help us strengthen our family ties through a strong foundational relationship with our God. For couples like us, who have journeyed through life for 10 years or more, this is where we can rest, learn and stand against the difficulties of raising families pleasing to both God and man. 

SINGLES CELL NETWORK (SOLEVITES)
At the age of searching, between the ages of 25 to 40, at this time when we have not yet found the one man or woman with whom we shall spend the rest of our lives, we can spend our ‘waiting time’ on the pursuit of personal and professional fulfillment. We can lead guided lives – lives whose path has been charted in accordance to the perfect will of God. Accordingly, we shall be thoroughly prepared for whatever God has planned for us after our period of seeking.

SENIOR CITIZENS CHRISTIAN NETWORK (SCCN)
Growth never stops. It goes on and on and on as long as we live. There is no better time to come closer to our God than when we are in the prime years of our lives, when we have reached 60 and onwards. At this time of rest, and yes, of discovery, not only are our spiritualities raised, but our potentials and gifts enhanced, our health sustained and our lives lived victoriously.

ADULT NETWORK
At the height of our mature years, with all the concerns, with all the problems and crises in our lives, at that moment when we are between the ages of 40 to 59, we need nurturing. Not the social, mental or even the physical kind of nurturing, but the spiritual kind. As we fellowship together, as we retrace our inner journeys through intimate relationships, prayers, retreats, recreation, workshops and the exploration of new areas of spiritual learning and enjoyment, not only are we comforted, but we are also strengthened in our relationship with our God.

BLESSED UNIONS
It is truly difficult to raise a family and be the representations of God, as partners to our spouses and as parents to our children. In recognition of this stark naked truth, there is a necessity to form a group that caters to all couples who have just started their walk as partners from day one to 10 years. Here, we reap the blessings of unions that have been submitted under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We shall be guided, trained and equipped until we can truly say that our relationships with our husbands, wives and children, are built on God’s salvation, love and faithfulness.

FELLOWSHIP OF BEACONS (F.O.B.)
Beacons are lone beams of light whose job is to guide and shine. For us who have had to raise our families alone, for whatever reason that may be – whether this condition is due to a loss of a loved one, through marital separation or pre-marital intimacy – we need support, comfort, love and understanding. We need not face our familial problems alone. We’ve got each other… and we’ve got the Almighty God.
